For new and returning students please take a minute to glance through what is included in a student binder. I created this last year to help parents, students and myself be able to quickly find what they need. This year’s binder is a little bigger. (1 1/2 inches) I was trying to save on cost last year, but we really need a little more room to maneuver. One binder recommended per family. I am selling these at my cost–$20. If you would like to upgrade your binder or need a new set of highlighters or notebook, I will sell these at cost or you can pick those items up on our own.

LESSON NOTES:This is an upgrade from last year–a regular notebook for lesson notes. The loose leaf papers were driving me nuts. For families with more than one student lesson notes will be combined into one notebook. This way parents can easily navigate to one date and see at a glance what their child’s assignments are.
PRACTICE TOOLS: Some kids really thrive on charts and stickers, others don’t. For families with multiple kids taking piano more sets will be provided at no cost.
SHEET MUSIC: This section has ten sheet protectors to hold sheet music, staff paper and a Repertoire wish list.
Each binder comes with 5 highlighters and a new pencil. The jury is still out on whether or not the pocket will keep them from getting lost. UPDATE: We moved to using a zippered pocket.
IMPORTANT STUFF: This is where you find details on upcoming events, photo release form that allows me to post your child’s picture here and practicing tips for parents. The practicing contract is not included anymore. ~see Studio Policy~
