Nancy is a fantastic teacher! She blends her immense knowledge of and skill at the piano with motivating and rewarding teaching techniques that inspire the kids to want to practice, improve, and perform at their best! My children especially love her “Beat The Teacher” practice time competitions and her reward bucket. Not to mention her recitals are always positive experiences, full of praise, rewards, and recognition. If you’re looking for a piano teacher that is both good at the piano and at teaching, you need look no further!

Nancy taught piano to 2 of my children, ages 7 and 10. She was their first exposure to the instrument.
Nancy has a gift for unlocking the potential inside a child. She can instinctively see exactly what method will be most successful to keep them interested and motivated. She makes a continual effort to keep it fun while still pushing her students to try new and more difficult things. She’s so good at it, that the kids don’t even realize how much progress they are making!
She is also a gentle and kind person and has a very nurturing attitude which makes that progress possible. It is clear that she, too, loves the piano and the child and wants them to be successful!

Nancy is a patient and very knowledgeable teacher. She is willing to meet each student where they are and inspire them to improve. She is great at motivating students and making all the hard work of learning to play piano a whole lot of fun.
